Cut two pieces of 2×6 and 2×2 six to 21 inches. Place the 2×6 pieces on top of the rectangle base of stage 1, with a 2×6 on each edge. These will be the beams that add strength to the rectangle and hold the wood. Attach the 2×2 pieces from stage 2 to the rectangle base with wood glue and a wooden screw at each end. Join the 2×6 pieces, covering all mating areas of wood with wood glue. And then install a wood screw every 2 inches.
